The concrete jungle holds occasional summer pleasures.
Shakespeare on the Common.
Coffee Oreo in a waffle cone from JP Licks on Newbury.
Cherry tomatoes from the farmer's market.
And lunch hours in Copley Square.

@Karin. JP Licks's "Death by Chocolate", or its equivalent, always draws me there when I'm down that way. Enjoyed "Comedy of Errors" as well.
@squigkato.
I went Fri eve last and was surprisingly entranced by CofE. I'm not a huge Shakespeare buff, but the breezy setting and dance pieces in between (So. Beach theme and all) were hilarious. I left thinking that I should donate money to the group, so it seems they did what they set out to!)
@Karin. Guilty: donated $5. As a fan of the Bard, consider "Comedy of Errors" my fave, being based on a play of the Roman, Plautus, some of whose works I read when I studied Latin. Reading all Shakespeare's plays and sonnets, I believe, made me into a better composer of prose, overall.
