@Karin. In Southie, it should be uttered as "Rat Bastards". Proves the old adage that no good deed goes unpunished. Had a similar incident occur eight years ago with one of two concrete lions placed in front of a building I owned. One morning, arrived to find only one lion. Barbarians. Sorry this incident occurred so soon after your bicycle disappeared.
@Squigkato. I think I would have been happier if they had just smashed it on the sidewalk, then at least I would have just thought drunken vandalism. Now I have to suspect one of my yuppy neighbors needing patio decoration for a bbq....
