(A wet kiss--or dry alternative, should you feel slightly uncomfortable--to the first person who can tell me the name of these flowers. A half-hour of Google searching thus proved fruitless...or, technically, "flowerless".....)

Yes, they are snowdrops. Beautiful flowers, aren't they? The first blooms of Spring. Yay, it must be coming soon!

Snowdrops!!! You don't have to worry about them surviving the cold, they'll make it! Spring is almost here...the trees are flowering in Philly, soon they will be in Boston too (if they aren't already)!
