@klk. That's a U-Haul, baby! (I think Ms. Barr took it.....but the red out-building in the back is confusing me as to where along the way....think it might be in Lansing, MI, when we dropped off our 3rd traveling companion.
I wore those damned bib shorts that entire summer. And those white keds, also.
Hey Karin, unrelated to this post (congratulations, btw! It's 4 years today for me...), you might want to check out this article in the NYT today: http://www.nytimes.com/2009/08/30/business/30shoe.html?pagewanted=1&em
Oh, duh. Of course it's a U-Haul. I must say, you look younger now than you did 10 years ago. It must be a North Dakota thing that you end up looking younger and more fabulous as the years go by. You look great 10 years later!
@klk. FYI, the reflection in the glasses covers the gratuitous crows-feet....however, you are certainly welcome to uproot your family and come out here so you can be my personal PR guru. Thanks for the kindness.
And if that is true about NoDak as you say, you are following the trend....
She rents an apartment in a neighborhood of trendy condos.
Her bike is vintage Raleigh. Her car is from 1991.
The cat's litter box is next to her bed and she doesn't own a dresser.
She likes to make fun of herself.
Occasionally she runs marathons.
And yes, she has to wear glasses. Contacts are not an option.

Love the comparison pictures from then and now. I love the fact that you are wearing bib shorts and climbing into a pickup. How North Dakota is that?

@Karin. Hopefully, you lost the "bib shorts" over the last ten years. Would not flatter you today.
@squigkato. Oh, let's be frank. They certainly did not flatter me then, either.
