Heeding my friend's advice, the new headline on my match.com profile reads:
"You too could be the next contestant....
So I'm writing a blog about this match.com thing....creative weigh-ins on this profile could gain you a featured moment...! Or maybe just a shout back from me...."
Whether or not this causes my one current correspondent to blanch and retreat is yet to be seen.
In the meantime, I've reset the "profile views" counter to track the before- and after-effect.
