more flooding (damn hurricane season)

more terrorist threats (anniversaries, schmaniversaries),
it's
a relief
to see
the sun
and some
blue-sky
relief
this afternoon.
Seems appropriate that came
just as I'm
to get on a plane to MSP
and hang with
Cousin J
in celebration of her
wedding-to-be.
(She and I have always been
great partiers, natch.)
